MicroDental general HOLD PLUS statements

- Statement 1 - PEKKTON / Version 1
  Pekkton is a CAD/CAM-fabricated substructure for esthetic restorations on implants. A high-performance polymer that is flexible, shock absorbent and with characteristics similar to human bone, resulting in enhanced wearing comfort. The Pekkton substructure can be combined with all restorative materials available, like E-max or Zirconia crowns which can be cemented to the milled Pekkton substructure, then veneered with Anaxdent gum material for an excellent natural appearance. Pekkton offers a different approach compared to all rigid restoration options like milled bars and all Zirconia solutions.

  Pekkton is a CAD/CAM-fabricated substructure for implant Hybrid cases. This high-density polymer is flexible, shock absorbent and with performance characteristics similar to human bone which provides enhanced patient comfort. The Pekkton substructure can be combined with all available restorative materials. E-max and Zirconia crowns can be easily cemented to the milled Pekkton substructure. The multi-shaded bonded composites add the optimum in natural looking tissue aesthetics. Pekkton offers a unique repairable infrastructure, unlike the rigid options of milled bars or all Zirconia frames.

- Statement 19 - RODO ABUTMENT SYSTEM / Version 1
  MicroDental is excited to introduce the Rodo Abutment System as part of our portfolio of implant solutions. The Rodo Abutment System uses the revolutionary Smileloc technology to eliminate the need for cement or screws for retaining the restoration. This new FDA cleared implant abutment system uses the shape memory material, Nitinol, to create an entirely new attachment between a restoration and a dental implant. Smileloc is currently compatible with Nobel Biocare®, Straumann®, and Neodent® implant systems.
- Statement 20 - RODO ABUTMENT SYSTEM / Version 2
  FDA has approved The Rodo Abutment System which radically simplifies the process for placing and retrieving implant restorations by eliminating the need for cement or screws. The Smileloc, combined with the proprietary Rodo abutment and coping, uses the shape memory metal, Nitinol to create an entirely new attachment between a restoration and a dental implant. This technology eliminates the need for cement or screws and allows the prosthesis to be removed using the Smileloc "Key."
